If you want to refresh Orderwise data in real-time, the sidebar / preview app cards can help.
Please note: The app cards functionality presented here requires the "owid" property to be filled for the records you're looking to enrich. We recommend running a manual sync at least once to get all your Orderwise IDs in place.
- Navigate to the "Connected Apps" screen (under "Integrations" in settings) in your HubSpot instance and click on "OW Sync - Orderwise Connector".
- Select the "App cards" tab:
- On this screen, you will see 2 cards:
- Orderwise (Preview) - Shows on CRM index pages when clicking on "Preview"
- Orderwise (Sidebar) - Shows on single record pages in the right sidebar
- To set up your app cards, click on "Manage locations" for the cards you are interested in - we recommend setting up both for convenience.
- You will be presented with the following sidebar:
- Select the checkbox on the right for each object type, e.g. contacts and companies in our case. This will add the app card to your views.
- Once done, click "Save".
- You will be presented with the following sidebar:
- The app card setup should be completed once you see this:
- As you can see, the app cards are now marked as "Added to: 1 view" for both contacts and companies. This means they are now correctly installed.
- To test your app cards, go to the company index page in your CRM:
- Here, click on "Preview" while hovering over a company row.
- You will be presented with the following sidebar:
- To find the "Orderwise (Preview)" app card, you may need to scroll all the way down. Feel free to re-arrange it to the top if you prefer.
- Once you have the preview open, you are presented with a "Refresh Orderwise data" button, and "Include contacts" checkbox, and some Orderwise data.
- To test the card's functionality, edit some of the customer fields in Orderwise that have been mapped to HubSpot via OW Sync (see setup guide).
- Then, click on "Refresh Orderwise data" to pull in the new data.
- If you want, before clicking on the button, you can select the "Include contacts" checkbox. This will refresh the data for ALL the contacts (minus the ones excluded via exclusion fields) associated to this company as well.
- The "Include contacts" option only appears on company records.
- If successful, you will see a success banner appear and, on refresh, you should see the updated data refresh in your HubSpot record in real-time.
- Then, click on "Refresh Orderwise data" to pull in the new data.
- The above works the exact same way when you're inside a company record:
- Finally, navigating to the contacts CRM index page, the contacts app card that you previously set up is a simpler version of the one you just used for companies.
- Here, like the company records, you can:
- See Orderwise data related to the record
- Click on "Refresh Orderwise data" to pull fresh data in real-time
- The only difference is the lack of an "Include contacts" checkbox.
- Here, like the company records, you can:
