How to edit Orderwise credentials in OW Sync - Orderwise Connector

In case you've switched users or host URL for your Orderwise instance, here's how to change them.

Please note: Only carry this action forward if you are 100% sure the data coming through the new credentials won't conflict with the existing data.

OW Sync - Orderwise Connector uses the ID of each Orderwise record to update existing records, so if you are switching Orderwise databases with entirely different data, the HubSpot representation will be heavily skewed.

  1. Navigate to the "Connected Apps" screen (under "Integrations" in settings) in your HubSpot instance and click on "OW Sync - Orderwise Connector".
  2. Click on "Edit credentials" at the bottom of the screen

  3. On the "Orderwise Credentials" tab screen, replace the Orderwise URL, Orderwise Username, and Orderwise Password inputs with the new credentials.

  4. Click on "Save new credentials". The application will show you either a success message if the credentials are correct or an error message if something is wrong.
  5. Once applied successfully, select the "Test Sync" tab and click on the "Run test" button to check whether the Orderwise API is returning records correctly.
