How to add an OW Sync custom action to your HubSpot workflow

This article explains how to add and configure OW Syn custom actions within a HubSpot workflow. Custom actions let you create or update Orderwise records directly from HubSpot, ensuring data stays synchronized across both systems.

Steps to Add a Custom Action


a. Open your workflow

Once your workflow is created and a trigger is selected, click on the “+button in the workflow editor.


b. Choose an OW Sync action 

A sidebar will appear. Scroll to OW Sync - Orderwise Connector

and select the action you need (e.g. Create Contact).

c. Fill in mandatory fields

Complete all the mandatory fields. These fields are required to ensure that Orderwise can correctly process the action.

d. (Optional) Add non-mandatory fields

You can also fill in non-mandatory fields for more detailed records.

e. Save the action

Click Save to add the custom action to your workflow.

f. Add more actions

To add another action, simply click the “+button again and repeat the process.

Deleting an Action

If you want to remove one or more workflow actions:

1. Click the bin icon

2. Two options will appear:
  • Delete this action only → Removes only the selected action
  • Delete this action and all following actions → Removes the selected action and the following steps.

Choose the option that best fits your workflow needs.
